7. Operation
L) Recording
Start Recording
1.
Press [RECORD] button, the four counting beats on the LCD will fl ash, indicating a "record waiting status". The ACCOMP
track and MELODY track can be recorded together.
2.
You can start recording once all your settings have been made. Start recording by playing the keyboard or pressing the
[START/STOP] button. Any previous recording will be overwritten.
The recording will be erased once the keyboard is turned off.
Stop Recording
1. Automatic Stop

Once the memory is full, the recording will stop automatically, and the LCD will display "FULL".

When a style is playing, press [INTRO/ENDING] button to stop recording automatically after the ending.
2. Manual Stop

To stop immediately, press [RECORD] button again while recording.
Playback Recording
To start or stop playing the recorded data, press [PLAY/STOP] button.
M) Songs
There are 120 songs in total (see Appendix III). Each song can be practised in the LESSON mode.
1.
Press [SONG] button to enter the "song mode". The "Song" icon on the LCD will be displayed. Press [START/STOP] or
[SONG] button to play the current song repeatedly. Press [START/STOP] or [SONG] button again to stop playing the
song,

Use [+/YES] / [-NO] button or th numeric keypad to select the song you want.
3.
Press [LESSON] button to enter the "lesson mode". There are 3 different ways to practise each song.
4.
To exit the song mode, press [STYLE] , [VOICE] or [DUAL].
N) Lesson
The keyboard provides three level of lessons.
In "song mode", press [LESSON] button to enter the lesson mode.
The lesson mode is selected in following sequence: Lesson 1(Beat) > Lesson 2(Follow) > Lesson 3(Perform) > Off.
To start or stop the lesson, press [START/STOP] button.
Lesson 1:
Choose Lesson 1 to learn the rhythm of the song. The correct sound will be played irrespective of the note you played, as
long as the rhythm is correct.
Lesson 2:
Play the note shown in the display. When the correct note is played, the next note will be shown.
Lesson 3:
Play the note as shown in the display with correct tempo. The keyboard will play the accompaniment.
