7. Operation
g. Touch
This function allows you to control the dynamics of your notes by varying the pressure applied on the keys.
If the touch function is disabled, there will be no touch response.
Press [TOUCH] button to switch between the level 0 to level 3 of the touch effect.
h. Transpose
You can change the key of your music with the TRANSPOSE function by adjusting the pitch in semitone steps.
1. Press [TRANSPOSE +] or [TRANSPOSE -] button to change the Transpose value from -12 to +12 semitones.
The LCD will display the current transpose value.
2. Press [TRANSPOSE +] and [TRANSPOSE -] buttons simultaneously to reset to its default value of 00.
i. Octave
This function can shift the key 1 octave up or down.
1. Press [OCTAVE +] or [OCTAVE -] button to change the Octave value from -1 to 1.
The LCD will display the current octave value.
2. Press [OCTAVE +] and [OCTAVE -] buttons simultaneously to reset to its default value of 00.

D) Style Control

The keyboard has a total of 160 preset styles. (See Appendix II)
a. Style (Auto accompaniment)
To select a style
1. Press the [STYLE] button to set the keyboard to the "style mode". The "STYLE" icon will be displayed.
2. Press [+/YES] / [-/NO] or the numeric kepad to select the style you want.
To start a Style
You can start a style with various ways.
1. Without any effects
- Use [START/STOP] button to start the style.
2. In sync with your melody
- Press [SYNC] button. This ensures that the key starts in sync with the style.
- The style will initiate when you start playing melody (by pressing any key).
3. In sync with Auto Bass Chord
- Press [A.B.C] button to turn on the "auto bass chord" mode.
- Press [SYNC] button. This ensures that the auto bass chords starts in sync with the style.
- The style will initiate when you start playing a note or a chord on the CHORD area. (See section on Auto Bass Chord)
4. With an Introduction
- Press [INTRO/ENDING] button to insert an intro section before you press [START/STOP] button to play the style. (See
section on Intro/Ending)
To stop a Style
1. Stop immediately
- Use [START/STOP] button to stop a style.
2. Stop with an ending
- Press [INTRO/ENDING] button to stop with an ending section. The ending section will be introduced at the beginning
of the next section.
3. Sync stop
- Press [SYNC] button to stop playing immediately. The synchronized mode will be activated.
b. Sychronization
1. Press [SYNC] button to synchronise your melody or chords with the selected style. The beat indicators fl ash indicating that
it is in a "waiting mode".
2. The style will start when you begin playing melody or chords.
