Check the screw nuts at the inspection cover of the heating el-
ement on tight fit after about 25 – 30 heating hours, in order to
prevent from possible leakages by heat deformation This check
should also be carried out after each cleaning process and main-
tenance
Starting Blower Operation
Set the operating switch to „Ventilate" The WAH runs
in continuous operation without burner operation
After shutting down the WAH using the operating switch
or the room thermostat, the fan will continue running
for cooling of the heat exchanger and will the automat-
ically shut-off after reaching a temperature below the
minimum ventilation temperature. Due to the fact that
after shut-off of the fan, residual heat continues to be
radiated by the combustion chamber and the heat ex-
changers, the fan may start-up again several times.
Never unplug the power cable or the power supply to
the control box while the equipment is hot, otherwise
uncontrolled overheating due to heat accumulation can
damage the equipment.
Placing out of Service
Place the selection switch in the „O" position and close the fuel
oil infeed
The WAH must be completely cooled prior to transport.
Maintenance
To assure reliable operation and optimum economy the
WAH must be serviced and cleaned at appropriate intervals
To do this the following must be unconditionally observed:
•
When being serviced, disconnect the power plug and close
the fuel oil infeed
•
At regular intervals, the WAH and in particular the burner, the
combustion chamber, the flue gas ducts, the fan, any belts
must be checked for soiling and, if required, cleaned
•
To clean the heat exchanger, dismantle the exhaust nozzles
and unscrew the inspection cover After removing the flue
gas suppressor the flue gas ducts can be cleaned using spe-
cial cleaning brushes Before re-assembly, check all seals
of the inspection cover for damage and, if required, replace
Tightly screw down the inspection cover so that no flue gas-
es can escape
•
The burner must be removed for cleaning the combustion
chamber Then, the deposits can be removed through the
burner opening using a special soot aspirator If the flange
seal is damaged, it must absolutely be replaced before as-
sembling the burner
