Maintenance
Periodically check the technical safety of the laser effect device, e.g. check for dam-
age to the power cable or the housing.
If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, then discon-
nect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation. Disconnect
the mains plug from the socket.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• there is any visible damage to the device
• the device does not function for some reason
• it has been stored for longer periods under unfavourable conditions, or
• the device has been subjected to rough conditions of transport
Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or servicing
the laser effect device:
Live components may be exposed if the covering is opened or
components are removed.
Before servicing or repair works, the device must be disconnect-
ed from all sources of power.
Capacitors in the device may still be charged even after it has
been disconnected from all power sources.
Repair work must always be carried out by qualified persons
familiar with the hazards involved and with the relevant regula-
tions.
