Safety instructions

Read through the safety instructions carefully before
commissioning the receiver. Observe all warnings and
notes on the device and in the operating instructions. If
you pass the device on to third parties, ensure that you
pass along the instruction manual.

Basic safety instructions

Electrical connection
• To avoid the danger of fire and the risk of electric
shock, do not expose the receiver to rain or other types
of moisture.
• Never open the housing. This otherwise leads to a risk
of electric shock.
• Only connect the receiver to a properly installed
110-240 V, 50/60 Hz mains socket.
• Total current consumption at the receiver's "ANT IN"
antenna connection must not exceed 100 mA.

• If foreign bodies or fluid enter the receiver, immedi-
ately disconnect the mains plug from the socket. Have

before recommissioning it. This otherwise leads to a
risk of electric shock.
• Do not kink or crush the mains power cable.
• Do not touch the mains power cable with moist hands.

• In the event of malfunctions, disconnect the receiver

• Please ensure that the receiver is not exposed to any
dripping water or spray. Do not put any items filled
with liquids - such as vases - on or above the receiver.
• Do not allow children to play with packing foils as
there is a danger of suffocation.
