4.2 Software Functions
The RCS software permits all microphone
functions to be controlled remotely. Functions
not supported by the microphone are
grayed-out.
Microphone Properties
Indicates microphone manufacturer,
model and serial numbers, version
numbers and latency time of the mi-
crophone.
Polar Pattern
There are 15 settings for the polar
pattern, from omnidirectional to car-
dioid to figure-8. These settings can
be selected by clicking on the arrows
to the left and right of the polar pat-
tern display field. Alternatively, click
in the display field to open the con-
text menu. Any of the 15 patterns
can be selected, even though not all
are designated by a descriptive name.
For the D-01 microphone the de-
fault setting, indicated by "0 default",
is cardioid.
4.2 Software-Funktionen
Mit der Software RCS können alle Funktio-
nen des Mikrophons ferngesteuert werden.
Funktionen, die vom Mikrophon nicht unter-
stützt werden, sind auf dem Bildschirm matt-
grau dargestellt.
Microphone Properties
Zeigt Mikrophonhersteller und -typ,
Seriennummer und Revisionsstand
sowie die Latenzzeit des Mikro-
phons.
Polar Pattern
Die Richtcharakteristik ist in 15 Schrit-
ten von Kugel über Niere bis zur
Acht einstellbar. Dies geschieht ent-
weder schrittweise durch Klicken auf
einen der Pfeile an den Skalenenden
oder gezielt im Kontextmenü, das
sich öffnet, wenn in die Skala geklickt
wird. Es kann auf jede der angebote-
nen Richtcharakteristiken geklickt
werden, auch wenn es für einige von
ihnen keine gebräuchliche Bezeich-
nung gibt.
Die Position 0 „default" ist beim
D-01 als Niere definiert.
