Bei diesem Betriebsmittel handelt es sich um ein explo-
sionsgeschützt ausgeführtes Gerät für den Betrieb
innerhalb explosionsfähiger Atmosphäre. Als ein Gerät
der Gruppe II, Kategorie 2 ist es in den Zonen 1 und 2
verwendbar. Nachstehende Warn- und Sicherheits -
hinweise sind besonders zu beachten:
1. Der Anschluss und die Installation des Gerätes
haben unter Beachtung der angegebenen Zünd-
schutzart
gemäß
richtungsvorschriften von einem unterwiesenen
Fachpersonal zu erfolgen. Instandsetzungsarbeiten
dürfen nur vom Hersteller selbst oder von einer vom
Hersteller beauftragten Person bei Durchführung
einer erneuten Stückprüfung für das Gerät durch -
geführt werden.
2. In Schutzklasse II entspricht das Gerät EN 60335-1.
Es darf nur an 100V – Lautsprecher anlagen ange-
schlossen werden.
3. Im beschädigten Zustand darf das Gerät nicht
betrieben werden.
4. Bei Betrieb des Gerätes in gewerblichen Einrichtun-
gen sind die Unfallverhütungsvorschriften der ge -
werblichen Berufsgenossenschaften für elek trische
Anlagen und Betriebsmittel zu beachten.
5. Das Betriebsmittel darf nur unter den angegebenen
Umgebungsbedingungen betrieben werden. Widrige
Umgebungsbedingungen, die nicht durch die Zünd-
schutzart des Gerätes abgedeckt sind, können zur
Beschädigung des Gerätes führen und damit zu
einer evtl. Gefahr für das Leben des Benutzers.
6. Der für das Gerät angegebene Umgebungstempe-
raturbereich darf während des Betriebes weder
unter- noch überschritten werden. Es ist verboten
das Gerät mit einer zusätzlichen Abdeckung zu
betreiben und Stauwärme am Einsatzort ist zu ver-
meiden!
7. Die vorgeschriebene Betriebsgebrauchslage des
Gerätes ist zu berücksichtigen.
8. Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für den Betrieb an
100 V Lautsprecheranlagen geeignet. Vorge schrie -
bene Betriebsarten sind einzuhalten.
9. Es dürfen nur ATEX bescheinigte Verschlussstopfen
oder Kabeleinführungen ver wendet werden.
10. Bei Anschluss- oder Instandsetzungsarbeiten am
Lautsprecher müssen die Anschlussleitungen und
das Gerät spannungsfrei geschaltet sein.
11. Reinigungsarbeiten dürfen wegen der Gefahr
elektrostatischer Aufladung nur mit einem feuchten
Tuch erfolgen.
Bei Nichtbeachtung der genannten Punkte ist der
Explosionsschutz des Gerätes nicht mehr gegeben.
Das Gerät stellt dann eine Gefahr für das Leben des
Betreibers dar und kann die Zündung einer explosions-
fähigen Atmosphäre verursachen.

2. In Protection Class II the device meets the
EN 60335-1. The device may only be connected to

3. If the device is damaged, it may not be operated.
4. While operating the device in business or industry
facilities,
precautions against accidents resulting from the use
of electrical systems and devices must be taken.
5. The equipment may only be operated under the
prescribed
ambient conditions not covered by the explosion
protection class of the device can lead to damage
of the device and thus present a potential danger
for the user.
6. During operation of the device the temperature
must not exceed nor fall below the prescribed range
of ambient temperatures. It is not allowed to
operate the device with an additional cover. Avoid
heat accumulation on the site!
7. Please pay attention to the required operating
position of the device.
8. The device is suited for operation with 100 V
loudspeaker systems only. The required modes of
operation must be observed.
9. Only ATEX-certified blind plugs and cable glands
may be used.
10. When connecting or maintaining the loudspeaker,
the device and all leads must not be under power.
11. The device may only be cleaned using a damp cloth
in order to avoid electrostatic charging.
Should these points not be observed, the explosion
protection of the device cannot be guaranteed. The
device is then a potential source of danger for the life of
the user and can cause the ignition of an explosive
atmosphere.
