So wird der Rei!verschluMuB eingera
stet: FuR mit dem hinteren Steg in die
hintere Nute W einhangen und die Sohle
nach oben drücken, bis der vordere
Steg X einrastet. Der FuR kann in die
Positionen rechts, links (Abb. SI oder
Mitte geschoben werden.
Beidseitig verdeckt eingenähter ReiBver
schiuR: ReiRverschluR einheften. Den
NähfuR nach links bis zum Anschlag
schieben. Geöffneten ReiRverschluR so
unter den FuR legen, daR die Zähne am
rechten Führungssteg entlang laufen
(Abb. TI. ReiRverschluR bis
Ca. zur
Hälfte in der gewünschten Breite
absteppen. Nadel im Stoff stehen las
sen, NähfuR anheben und ReiRverschluR
schlieRen (Abb. UI. NähfuR senken, die
Naht bis zum ReiRverschluBende welter
führen und die Quernaht steppen. Die
zweite ReiRverschluRseite parallel im
gleichen Abstand nähen. Kurz vor Naht
ende Nadel im Stoff stehen lassen. Näh
fuR anheben und den ReiRverschluR
off

This is how the zipper foot is engaged:
Insert the foot with the back pin in the
back groove W and push the shoe of
the foot upwards, until the front pin X
snaps in. The zipper foot can be pushed
to the positions: left (Fig. SI, right, or
centre.
Completely concealed zip fastener:
Baste in zip by hand first. Push the
zipper foot to the left as far as it will
go. Place the open zip under the foot so
that its teeth run along the right guiding
edge on the sole of the foot (Fig. TI.
Sew about half the length of the zip at
the required width. Leave the needle
down in the material, raise the zipper
foot and close the zip (Fig. UI. Lower
the zipper foot again, continue the seam
and then sew across the end. Sew the
other side of the zip at the same
margin. Shortly before the end of the
seam leave the needle down in the
material, raise the zipper foot and open
the zip (Fig. VI. Lower the zipper foot
again and sew to the end.
