3. OPERATING DETERMINATIONS
The repeater serves for extending LED strips (optional).
The amplifier requires an operating voltage of 12 V or 24 V direct current, supplied by an optional power unit.
The power unit is allowed to be operated with an alternating voltage of 230 V, 50 Hz~. All components of the
system (amplifier, control unit, connectors and cables) were designed for indoor use only.
The ambient temperature must always be between -5° C and +45° C. Keep away from direct insulation
(particularly in cars) and heaters. The relative humidity must not exceed 100 % with an ambient temperature
of 25° C. This device must only be operated in an altitude between -20 and 2000 m over NN.
Avoid brute for during installation. There should not be any cables lying around. You endanger your own and
the safety of others!
Please consider that unauthorized modifications on the device are forbidden due to safety reasons! If this
device will be operated in any way different to the one described in this manual, the product may suffer
damages and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore, any other operation may lead to dangers like short-
circuit, burns, electric shock, crash etc.
4. MOUNTING AND CONNECTION

Connect the optional power supply unit to power input at the amplifier and to a mains outlet.
Interconnecting several LED ribbons

Connect the control unit to the input connector at one end of the LED ribbon in the chain as described
above.

Then connect the other end to the connector of the subsequent LED ribbon.

Connect further LED ribbons in the same way. All lengths available can be combined as desired.

Always make sure that the arrows on the connectors point to each other.

The maximum number of LED ribbons that can be interconnected to one control unit varies with the
power unit you choose.

Insert the repeater between two LED-strips.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
We recommend a frequent cleaning of the device. Please use a moist, lint-free cloth. Never use alcohol or
solvents!
There are no serviceable parts inside the device. If defective, please dispose of the unusable LED ribbon in
accordance with the current legal regulations.
