Place the new blade onto the pruner head matching up the
three holes in the blade to the three prongs on the head. (Drawing
F) Thread the screw back through the hole at the base of the pruner
head so that the head of the screw is on the back of the pruner.
NOTE: The base of the screw features a square shape which must be
aligned correctly on both sides of the pruner. Place the other half of
the pruner (has the tools in the handle) back onto the screw. When
the screw has been threaded through both handles and they are
flush with one another, place the nut onto the screw and tighten with
included adjustment wrench/sharpening stick. Replace spring (see
Drawing D). Over-tightening may cause pruner not to open.

The Genus pruner blades and tools are a 100% high-grade stainless
steel. No steel is truly "stainless." It is actually "corrosion-resistant
steel," and corrosion can occur if not properly maintained. Your
pruner blades should be wiped off after every use. The entire tool
should be cleaned, dried and re-oiled periodically, especially after
prolonged use in a damp environment. After cleaning, re-oil pivoting
area with a light machine or penetrating-type oil.

anytime after the date of purchase you find any defect in material or

The warranty does not cover abuse, alteration, unauthorized, or
unreasonable use of your Leatherman Genus. This warranty does not
cover sheaths, accessories or handle materials.
To obtain service, return your tool to the address shown below
or contact us for the location of the closest authorized repair center.
At our option, we may replace your Genus rather than repair it; and if
discontinued replace it with a product of equal or greater value.

Setzen Sie die neue Klinge am Scherenkopf ein. Richten Sie
dazu die drei Öffnungen in der Klinge auf die drei Stifte am Kopf aus.
(Zeichnung F) Setzen Sie die Schraube wieder so in die Öffnung am
Scherenkopfende ein, dass sich der Schraubenkopf auf der Rückseite
der Schere befindet. HINWEIS: Der Schraubensockel ist rechteckig
und muss auf beiden Scherenseiten korrekt ausgerichtet werden.
Setzen Sie die zweite Scherenhälfte (mit den Werkzeugen im Griff)
wieder auf die Schraube auf. Stecken Sie die Schraube durch beide
Griffe und richten Sie die Griffe aufeinander aus. Setzen Sie die
Mutter auf die Schraube auf und ziehen Sie sie mit dem beiliegenden
Schlüssel/Schärfer an. Setzen Sie die Feder wieder ein (Siehe
Zeichnung D). Wenn die Schraube zu stark angezogen wird, lässt sich
die Schere nicht öffnen.

Die Klingen der Genus-Gartenschere bestehen aus 100%
hochwertigem Edelstahl. Allerdings ist auch Edelstahl
nicht vollkommen korrosionsfrei. Eigentlich ist das Material
"korrosionsträge" und kann bei unzureichender Pflege rosten. Die
Gartenschere sollte nach jedem Gebrauch abgewischt werden.
Das gesamte Multifunktionswerkzeug sollte regelmäßig gereinigt,
getrocknet und geölt werden, besonders dann, wenn es über
längere Zeit Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt war. Nach der Reinigung auf
die beweglichen Gelenke ein leichtes Maschinen- oder Kriechöl
auftragen.

Placez la nouvelle lame dans la tête du sécateur, en prenant soin
d'aligner les trois trous sur la lame avec les trois griffes sur la tête.
(Illustration F) Passez de nouveau la vis dans le trou à la base de la
tête du sécateur de façon à ce que la tête de la vis apparaisse sur
l'arrière du sécateur. REMARQUE : La base de la vis présente une
forme rectangulaire qui doit être alignée correctement des deux
côtés du sécateur. Placez l'autre moitié du sécateur (la poignée avec
les outils) sur la vis. Quand la vis a été passée à travers les deux
poignées et qu'elles sont encastrées, placez l'écrou sur la vis et serrez
avec la clé de réglage/meule à affûter. Replacez le ressort (Reportez-
vous l'Illustration D). Un serrage exagéré peut empêcher l'ouverture
du sécateur.

Les lames du sécateur Genus et les outils sont en acier inoxydable de
grande qualité. Aucun acier n'est réellement « inoxydable ». Il s'agit en
fait d'un « acier résistant à la corrosion » et la corrosion est possible si
l'outil n'est pas correctement entretenu. Les lames de votre sécateur
doivent être séchées après chaque utilisation. L'ensemble de l'outil
multiple doit être nettoyé, séché et graissé à nouveau régulièrement,
surtout après une utilisation dans un environnement particulièrement
humide. Après le nettoyage, graissez la zone de rotation avec de
l'huile pour petite machine ou de type pénétrante.

Coloque la nueva hoja sobre el cabezal de la tijera podadora
haciendo que coincidan los tres agujeros en la hoja con los tres
dientes en el cabezal. (Figura F) Enrosque el tornillo de nuevo a
través del agujero en la base del cabezal de la tijera podadora
para que la cabeza del tornillo quede en la parte trasera de la tijera
podadora. NOTA: La base del tornillo tiene forma cuadrada, la cual
se debe alinear correctamente en ambos lados de la tijera podadora.
Coloque la otra mitad de la tijera podadora (tiene las herramientas en
el mango) de nuevo sobre el tornillo. Cuando se haya enroscado el
tornillo a través de ambos mangos y estén al ras el uno con el otro,
coloque la tuerca sobre el tornillo y apriételo con la barra de afilado/
llave inglesa de ajuste incluida. Reemplace el resorte (Consulte
figura D). Es posible que apretar demasiado ocasione que no se abra
la tijera podadora.

Las herramientas y hojas de la tijera podadora Genus sean en un 100%
acero inoxidable de alto grado. Ningún acero es verdaderamente
"inoxidable". En realidad es "acero resistente a la corrosión" y la
corrosión puede producirse si no se le da el mantenimiento correcto.
Las hojas de la tijera podadora se deben limpiar después de cada
uso. Toda la herramienta multiusos se debe limpiar, secar y engrasar
periódicamente, especialmente después de un uso prolongado en un
ambiente húmedo. Después de limpiarla, vuelva a engrasar las áreas
pivotantes con un aceite ligero para máquinas o tipo penetrante.
