Serial number reading
You have the option at the CCE 5050 to read the serial numbers of the
banknotes and print the scanned numbers.
In bottom of the screen you can see the active mode "SN:" if the serial number
reading is on. After counting the last read serial number is displayed.
Activate the serial numbers reading by pressing the "MENU" button to enter the
setup, press "↓ / DISPLAY" to reach the next menu topic "2. SERIAL" and press
there the "RESET" button to confirm the selection. Use the "↑ / ADD" and "↓ /
DISPLAY" button to toggle between the options "SERIAL ON" (serial number
reading active) and "SERIAL OFF" and press "RESET" to confirm. By pressing the
"MENU" button you return to the previous view.
By pressing the "PRINT" button you transmit the counting result and the serial
numbers to an optional thermal printer or to a PC.
Please note that the serial number reading is not possible for all currencies and
in all directions.

Settings in the setup menu

To enter the setup menu, press the „MENU" button. With the buttons „↑ / ADD" and „↓ / DISPLAY" you navigate through the
menu. If you press "RESET you open a submenu and confirm a selected option. By pressing "MENU" several times you leave the
submenus and return to the main display.
1: Speed
At this topic you can set up the counting speed of the CCE 5050. Please also note
that under certain circumstances, not all counting speeds work in all counting
and sorting modes. The serial number ready is working generally in the lowest
speed.
2: Serial
At this topic you can activate or deactivate the serial number reading. Please
note that the serial number reading is not possible for all currencies and in all
directions.
3: REJECT POCKET CAPACITY
At this topic you can choose the maximum numbers of banknotes in the reject
pocket. The highest value is 50 banknotes.
