The device must be completely assembled before use! While reading the text it is
advisable to refer to the „Overview of the Components".
1. Mount the rear protection grid (7) into the relevant slots and screw on the safety
bolt (6) for the rear protection grid (7) by turning it clockwise.
2. Mount the propeller correctly into the slot.
3. Screw on the fastening ring for the propeller (4) by turning it clockwise.
4. Secure the front protective grating (1) with the plastic ring supplied (3) and the
fastening screw (2).
Note: For easy assembly first attach the plastic ring (3) to the front protective gra-
ting (1) and then insert it at the rear protective grating (7).
1. Connect the device to a duly installed 230V/50Hz protective contact socket.
2. Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure that the mains voltage to be
used matches that of the device. You can find this information on the nameplate.
Basic Settings
Set the blower inclination angle before starting the device. You can adjust the incli-
nation angle by tipping the blower casing with both hands. Caution! The inclination
angle amounts to approx. 15°.
Operating
In order to select the ventilation speed, choose the appropriate setting by means of
the rotating switch on the front:
I = slow, II = medium, III = fast. Shift to „0" to switch off the device.
Blower Direction/Oscillation
You can choose from the two following options:
1. The device must have been switched off before. The setting knob must be pul-
led out. Turn the device carefully with by hand by holding the fan on the sides
and turning it either to the left or to the right until the limit stop. Warning: do not
exceed this limit.
2. Select the automatic swinging direction by pressing in the knob. The device
swings automatically within a range of 60°. This function is active only when the
fan is on. To deactivate the function pull out the setting knob.
