1.0 INTRODUCTION
The breakglass unit is available with

2.0 INSTALLATION

2.1 Mounting Details
The breakglass unit should be
mounted on a vertical surface us-
ing the four (4) fixing holes in the
base. These fixing holes are acces-
sible by removing the lid (see 2.4
'Removing the Lid').
The fixing holes have been de-
signed to accept a cap head screw
or bolt.
MEDC recommend the use of stain-
less steel fasteners.
2.2 Cable Termination
Please refer to wiring diagram sup-
plied with unit for terminal function
and number.
All cable entry holes to be fitted
with suitable BASEEFA certified
flameproof cable entry devices,
with or without the interposition
of a suitable BASEEFA certified
flameproof thread adapter. Unused
entries are to be fitted with suitable
BASEEFA certified flameproof stop-
ping plugs.

2.0 INSTALLATION (INDICE

2.1 Installation
Le déclencheur doit être monté sur
une surface verticale au moyen des
quatre trous de fixation situés à la
base. Ces trous sont accessibles en
démontant le couvercle (voir 2.4
Dépose du couvercle).
Les trous ont été conçus pour
recevoir une vis à tête ou un
boulon.
MEDC recommande l'utilisation
de vis de fixation en acier
inoxydable.
2.2 Eléments de connexion des
câbles
Toutes les entrées de câble doi-
vent être équipées d'un dispositif
antidéflagrant certifié BASEEFA
avec ou sans interposition d'un
adaptateur fileté antidéflagrant
certifié BASEEFA. Les entrées non
utilisées doivent être munies d'un
bouchon antidéflagrant certifié
BASEEFA.
Peuvent également être utilisés des
dispositifs antidéflagrants d'entrée
de câble, des adaptateurs filetés

2.0 INSTALLATION (GERÄT MIT
SCHUTZKLASSE IP66/67)
2.1 Montage
Der Druckknopfmelder ist mit Hilfe
der vier (4) Befestigungsbohrungen
im Unterteil auf einer senkrechten
Fläche zu montieren. Diese Befes-
tigungsbohrungen sind nach Entfer-
nung des Deckels zugänglich (siehe
2.4 "Entfernung des Deckels").
Sie sind für die Aufnahme von
Kopfschrauben ausgelegt.
MEDC empfiehlt die Verwendung
von Befestigungselementen aus
Edelstahl.
2.2. Kabelendverschluss
VORSICHT: Vor der Entfernung
des Deckels sicherstellen, dass
das Gerät von der Spannungsver-
sorgung isoliert ist.
Entfernen Sie die vier unverlier-
baren Schrauben, mit denen der
Deckel am Unterteil befestigt ist.
Heben Sie den Deckel vom Unterteil
ab.
Der Kabelendverschluss ist in
Übereinstimmung mit den für die
gewünschte Anwendung geltenden
Spezifikationen durchzuführen.
