FLASH STICK
– Infrarot-Thermometer
Einführung:
Das FLASH STICK Infrarot-Thermometer ist handlich und leicht zu bedienen. Innerhalb von einer
Sekunde erhält man die Oberflächentemperatur – durch die berührungslose Messmethode auch
von heißen, gefährlichen oder schwer erreichbaren Objekten.
Das FLASH STICK ist spritzwassergeschützt und für viele Anwendungsbereiche im Haushalt, Beruf
und Hobby einsetzbar, auch zur Temperaturkontrolle von Lebensmitteln.
Bestandteile (Fig. 1):
A: Messfühler D: Batterien
B: LCD E: Batteriefachdeckel
C: ON und Mess-Taste F: Öse für Kordel
Bedienung:
Einfach das Messobjekt anvisieren und den Knopf drücken. Nach einer Sekunde erhält man die
Oberflächentemperatur. Wenn der Bedienknopf losgelassen wird, bleibt die letzte Temperaturm-
essung 15 Sekunden lang auf dem Display stehen.
Entfernung, Messfleckgröße und Blickfeld:
Wenn die Entfernung vom Messobjekt (D) zunimmt, wird der Messfleck (S) größer im Verhältnis
D:S = 1:1 (z.B. 10 cm Entfernung = 10 cm Messfleck). Um eine möglichst genaue Temperaturangabe
zu bekommen, sollte das Zielobjekt so nahe wie möglich anvisiert werden.
Abschaltung:
• Bei Nichtbenutzung schaltet sich das Gerät nach ca. 15 Sekunden aus.
• oFF erscheint kurz im Display.
Befestigung:
• Befestigen Sie die beiliegende Kordel an der Öse.
Batteriewechsel:
• Sobald das Batteriesymbol in der Anzeige blinkt, wechseln Sie bitte unverzüglich die
Batterien.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus.
• Schrauben Sie die Endkappe ab. Entnehmen Sie die Batterien und legen Sie 2 x LR44 Knopfzell-
Batterien polrichtig ein. Schließen Sie die Kappe wieder.
• Schwache Batterien sollten möglichst schnell ausgetauscht werden, um ein Auslaufen der Bat-
terien zu vermeiden. Batterien enthalten gesundheitsschädliche Säuren. Beim Hantieren mit
ausgelaufenen Batterien beschichtete Handschuhe und Schutzbrille tragen!
Achtung:
Bitte entsorgen Sie Altgeräte und leere Batterien nicht über den Hausmüll. Geben Sie diese
bitte zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung beim Handel oder entsprechenden Sammelstellen
gemäß nationaler oder lokaler Bestimmungen ab.
Beachten Sie bitte:
• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor elektromagnetischer Strahlung (z.B. Induktionsheizungen, Mikro-
wellen) und statischer Elektrizität.
• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor großen oder abrupten Temperaturschwankungen.
• Legen Sie das Gerät nicht in die Nähe von heißen Gegenständen.
• Das Gerät ist aufgrund der Messtoleranzen nicht zum Messen der menschlichen Körpertempe-
ratur geeignet.
Denken Sie daran:
• Für Messungen von glänzenden oder polierten Metalloberflächen (Edelstahl, Aluminium) ist
das Gerät nicht geeignet.
• Das Gerät kann nicht durch transparente Oberflächen wie Glas oder Plastik hindurchmessen. Es
misst stattdessen die Temperatur der transparenten Oberfläche.
• Dampf, Staub, Rauch etc. können die Messung beeinträchtigen und die optischen Elemente des
Gerätes nachhaltig stören.
Instandhaltung:
• Bewahren Sie Ihr Gerät an einem trockenen Platz auf.
• Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, Vibrationen und Erschütterungen aus.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch. Keine Scheuer- oder Lösungs-
mittel verwenden!
• Bitte tauschen Sie die Batterien aus, wenn das Gerät nicht einwandfrei funktioniert.

• Das Gerät ist kein Spielzeug. Bewahren Sie es außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.

FLASH STICK
Introduction:
Your FLASH STICK infrared thermometer is compact and easy to use. Within a second you can safely
measure surface temperatures without contact, even of hot, hazardous, or hard-to-reach objects.
We are confident you will find many uses for your FLASH STICK in household, business and hobby,
also for temperature checks of food.
Elements (Fig. 1):

Use:
Just aim at the measuring object, press the button, and read the surface temperature in less than
a second. When the button is released, the last temperature reading will hold on the display for
15 seconds.
Distance, Spot Size, and Field of View:
As the distance (D) from the object increases, the spot size (S) of the area measured by the unit
becomes larger a ratio D:S = 1:1 (e.g. 10 cm distance = 10 cm spot size). To get the most accurate
temperature reading, aim at the target as near as possible.
Switching-OFF-Function:
• When the instrument is not used, it will automatically switch off after approx. 15 seconds.
• oFF flashes on the display.
Attachment:
• Pull the enclosed cord through the eyelet on the device.
Battery change:
• Change the batteries when the battery power symbol
• Confirm the unit is power off.
• Unscrew the end cap. Remove the batteries and insert 2 x LR44 lithium cell-batteries with correct
polarity. Replace the end cap.
• Low batteries should be changed soon to avoid the damage resulting from a leaking battery.
Batteries contain harmful acids. Wear protective glasses and gloves when handling with leaked
batteries.
Attention:
Please do not dispose of old electronic devices and empty batteries in household waste. To pro-
tect the environment, take them to your retail store or to appropriate collection sites according
to national or local regulations.
Cautions:
• Protect the unit from EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) from induction heaters and
microwave ovens and Electro Static Discharge
• Protect the unit from "thermal shock" (caused by large or abrupt ambient temperature
changes).
• Do not leave the unit on or near objects of high temperature.
• Not recommended for taking human temperature.
Reminders:
• Not recommended for use in measuring shiny or polished metal surfaces (stainless steel, alu-
minum, etc.).
• The unit cannot measure through transparent surfaces such as glass or plastic. It will measure
the surface temperature of the glass instead.
• Steam, dust, smoke, etc., can prevent accurate measurement by obstructing the unit's optics.
Hold the unit back and at an angle to ensure the most accurate measurement.
Maintenance:
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.
• Do not expose the instrument to extreme temperatures, vibration or shock.
• Clean it with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• If the unit does not work properly, change the batteries.

FLASH STICK
– Thermomètre infrarouge
Introduction:
Le thermomètre à infrarouge FLASH STICK est pratique et facile à utiliser. On obtient la tempéra-
ture de surface après une seconde - grâce à la méthode de mesure sans contact également d'ob-
jets chauds, dangereux et difficiles à atteindre.
Vous pouvez utiliser le FLASH STICK dans beaucoup de domaines d'application: Pour l'utilisation
ménagère, professionnelle ou pour vos loisirs, aussi pour contrôler la température des aliments.

Opération:
Visez simplement l'objet à mesurer et appuyez sur le bouton. Après une seconde, on obtient la tem-
pérature de surface. Lorsque le bouton de commande est relâché, la dernière mesure de température
reste affichée pendant 15 secondes.
Distance, taille du spot mesuré et champ de visée:
Lorsque la distance (D) de l'objet à mesurer augmente, la taille du spot mesuré (S) s´accroît au pro-
rata de D:S = 1:1 (p. ex. distance 10 cm = taille du spot 10 cm). Pour avoir une indication de tempé-
rature la plus précise possible, le mieux est de tenir l'appareil à la cible si près de possible.
Fonction de mise:
• Quand on n'utilise pas l'appareil, il s'arrête de lui-même après environ 15 secondes.
• oFF apparaît sur le display.
Fixation:
• Passer la corde dans l'œillet de l'appareil.
Changement de batterie:
• Si le symbole de batterie clignote sur le display, changer les batteries.
• Eteignez l'appareil.
• Dévissez le boîtier du thermomètre. Retirer les batteries et insérer les 2 batteries LR44 pile
ronde en respectant la polarité. Refermez le couvercle.
• Les batteries faibles doivent être changées le plus rapidement possible, afin d'éviter une fuite
des batteries. Les batteries contiennent des acides nocifs pour la santé. Pour manipuler des bat-
teries qui ont coulé, utiliser des gants spécialement adaptés et porter des lunettes de protection!
Attention:
Les vieux appareils électroniques et les piles usagées ne doivent pas être jetées dans les détritus
ménagers. Veuillez les rendre dans un site approprié de récupération pour les enlever sous des
conditions de milieu ou chez votre revendeur selon les spécifications nationales et locales.
A noter:
• Protégez l'appareil contre les rayons électroniques (par ex. chauffages à induction, micro-
ondes.
• Protégez l'appareil contre les variations de température importantes et brusques.
• Ne posez pas l'appareil à proximité d'objets chauds.
• L'appareil ne convient pas pour mesurer la température du corps humain en raison des tolé-
rances de mesure.
Pensez que:
• L'appareil ne convient pas pour mesurer les surfaces métalliques brillantes ou polies (acier spécial,
aluminium).
• L'appareil ne peut pas mesurer à travers des surfaces transparentes comme le verre ou le
plastique. Il mesure, à la place, la température de surface transparente.
• La vapeur, la poussière, la fumée etc. peuvent porter préjudice au mesurage et déranger les
éléments optiques de l'appareil de façon durable.
Entretien:
• Conserver votre appareil dans un endroit sec.
• Evitez d'exposer l'appareil à des températures extrêmes, vibrations ou chocs.
• Pour le nettoyage utilisez un chiffon doux humide. N'utilisez pas de dissolvants ou d´agents
abrasifs!
• Veuillez échanger les batteries si l'appareil ne fonctionne pas bien.

• L'appareil n'est pas un jouet. Maintenir l'appareil hors de portée des enfants.
• Cet appareil n'est pas adapté pour des besoins médicaux ou pour l'information publique, il doit
