b) Batteries
• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the batteries.
• Batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of
time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause
acid burns when in contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to
handle corrupted batteries.
• Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying
around, as there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
• Do not disassemble, short-circuit or throw batteries into fire. Never recharge non-
rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!

Attaching the wheels
Unbox the product carefully and remove the packaging materials. The product is delivered with
4 wheels (1).
• Place the air cooler on a slightly elevated surface (e.g. a table) so the bottom end protrudes
slightly to fasten the wheels. If necessary, place a sheet or blanket beneath the product to
protect the surface.
• Insert the wheels into the openings on the bottom of the air cooler as illustrated below. Insert
the wheels with braking action into the front of the air cooler.
Remote control
• Before first use, either remove a protective film from the battery compartment (27) or insert
the battery if it is delivered separately packaged.
• Pulling the protective film from the battery compartment activates the battery contacts and
the remote control is operational.
• If the battery is separately packaged, open the battery compartment as illustrated below.
Insert one round-cell battery, type CR 2032, into the battery holder with the plus side facing
upward and insert the battery holder back into the battery compartment until it clicks into
place.

• Replace the battery when the remote control no longer responds after some time. To replace
the battery, follow the instructions and illustration for inserting the battery.
• The buttons on the remote control are identical with the buttons on the control panel (4).
• The remote control has a range of 6 m. Point the RC sender (22) at the RC receiver. Furniture
and other objects between the RC sender and receiver may affect signal transmission and
reduce the range.

Place the product on a dry, clean, horizontal and stable surface.

For improved cooling, you may place the included ice packs (13) in the water tank. Using the
ice packs cools the water in the water tank and cooler air emits from the vent opening. Freeze

the ice packs for approx. 12 hours in your freezer before placing them in the water tank.

Keep sufficient distance to appliances generating heat.

Do not place the product below vases or flowerpots in order to prevent the
product from getting into contact with water.
• The air cooler can be moved using the handle (6). The front wheels feature a brake. Press

down the brake to stop the air cooler from rolling away. Press the brake up to release it. Move

the air cooler carefully when there is water in the water tank to prevent water from spilling.
• Remove the water tank (11) from the air cooler and open the water tank cover (10). Pour in
cold, clean water. Place the ice packs in the water tank and make sure the water level does
not exceed the MAX marking. Close the water tank cover and slowly insert the water tank into
the air cooler until it clicks into place.
• Before using the product, open the air flaps.
• The flaps must be opened manually as shown in the
right-hand image. Do not use the product when the flaps
are closed.
• Move the flaps to adjust the direction of the air flow.
• Close the flaps after you have finished using the product
to prevent dirt and dust from entering the product
interior.
• Connect the mains plug (9) to a suitable wall socket.
• Press the
operation
panel (4).
• Press the
combination with the ice packs, the product can be used to cool the ambient temperature.

(14, 23) button to turn on the air cooler. The device switches to normal fan
and low fan speed. The corresponding indicator lamps light up on the control
(19, 24) button to switch the air cooler to humidifier mode. In this mode in
(18, 20) button to turn on the oscillating action. The airflow switches from left to
button again to turn off the oscillating action.
