LED with motion detector

Intended use
This product is designed for use as an indoor light. It is not dimmable. The LED screws into
an E27 light socket that is connected to a standard mains supply. It features a built-in motion
detector that is activated by a twilight switch. The motion detector turns the LED on when
movement is detected within a range of up to 6 m. A timer switches the light off after a preset
duration.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture
(e.g. in bathrooms) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit, fire or electric shock. Read the
instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product available to third parties
only together with its operating instructions.

a) General information
• This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly, as it may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorized use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Always handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
may damage the product.
• Always observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which
are connected to the product.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be done by a technician or an
authorized repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
b) Persons and product
• Warning, LED light:
- Do not look directly at the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Install the product out of the reach of children.
• The product must only be operated using a mains voltage (see "Technical data"
section). Never try to operate the light using another type of voltage, as this may
destroy the product.
• The light is not dimmable. Do not use the product with an external dimmer.
• Never screw or unscrew the product if your hands are wet.
• The light must be mounted on a non-conductive surface.
• Do not hang or secure any objects (e.g. decorations) on/to the product.
• This may cause an electric shock! Disconnect the light socket from the electricity
supply before inserting the bulb.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room
into a warm one. The condensation generated may destroy the product. Allow the
product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it to use. This
may take several hours.
• Never cover the product during use.
• Always comply with the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment
when using the product in industrial facilities.
Installation instructions for the motion detector
Before using the product, consider the surroundings of the motion detector. The following
diagram shows you the possible setup options for the motion sensor to ensure that you use
it correctly. Note the orientation of the bulb. This may reduce the installation height, as the
orientation affects the ability of the sensor to detect movement.
Do not place several bulbs with a microwave sensor in close proximity, as they may
interfere with each other.

Operation
• Screw the product into an E27 light fitting.
• To turn the light on and off, switch the electricity on/off using the corresponding switch.
• A twilight switch turns the product on and activates the motion detector when the ambient
brightness drops below a certain threshold. The motion detector switches off automatically
when the brightness rises above the threshold. It is therefore disabled during daylight hours.
• The motion detector switches the product on when movement is detected within range. The
light switches off again 40 seconds after the last movement was detected.
Care and cleaning
• This product does not require maintenance. The LEDs are firmly embedded and cannot be
replaced.
• Always disconnect the product from the power supply and allow it to cool down to room
temperature before cleaning it.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
