PERTINENT ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMA-
TION
This appliance has been labled in accordance with European Di-
rective 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin that appears
on the appliance indicates that at the end of its service life the
product must not be treated as ordinary household rubbish, but
instead must be taken to a separate collection centre for elec-
trical and electronic equipment or else turned over to a retailer
at the time of purchase of a new appliance of the same type.
The proper, separate collection of this appliance contributes to
preventing any possible adverse impact on the environment or
on human health that might arise as a result of the incorrect
processing of this product. It should be disposed of in compliance
with local applicable environmental regulations. For more detai-
led information pertinent to handling, disposing of or recycling
this product, please contact your local waste disposal service or
the store where you purchased the appliance. Do not throw the
appliance packaging in the waste bin, but rather separate out the
different materials such as polystyrene, cardboard, plastic bags
etc. in accordance with local waste disposal regulations and cur-
rent standards. This appliance does not contain any HFCs (the
refrigeration circuit contains R600a isobutane).
R600a (ISOBUTANE)
Isobutane is a naturally occurring gas that has no impact on the
environment but is
inflammable. Therefore, before connecting the appliance to the
mains, it is critical to ensure that none of the refrigeration circuit
tubing is damaged. For every 8 gr. of refrigerant, the location
where it is intalled must have a minimum volume of 1 m3. The
amount of refrigerant appears on the technical specifications
card located on the rear of the appliance. In the event of loss of
refrigerant, keep open flames and ignition sources away from
the point of leakage.
