Charging the battery (A7-A8)
Only use the charger in dry rooms.
Always check that your mains supply is
the same as that marked on the rating
plate of the battery charger before
connecting it to mains supply.
The charger includes a charging station (19)
and a charging adapter (23). They are designed
for Lithium-ion battery in your machine. Please
always use them together. Do not use other
battery chargers.
Warning! If the charging adapter or
charging station is broken or missing,
please ask for help from after-sale
service to have the charger well repaired or
replaced. Never modify the charger yourself.
Do not use other charging station or charging
adapter for replacement.
1. Press the lock catches (13) on both sides to
release the battery pack (1) from machine.
2. Insert the charging plug (21) into the charging
socket (20).
3. Connect the charging adapter (23) to a socket-
outlet of mains supply. When the charging
adapter (23) gets power, the charging indicator
(22) will light a GREEN LED.
4. Insert the battery pack (1) into the charging
station (19). Now the charging indicator (22) will
light a RED LED to indicate the charging process.
5. The charger will end the charging process
automatically when the battery is fully charged
(approx. 3-5 h). The charging indicator (22) will
light up the GREEN LED again to indicate the
finish of the charging process.
6. Disconnect the battery charger from the mains
supply while finishing the charging work.
If the battery pack fails to charge, please
check:
- Whether there is voltage at the socket-outlet of
mains supply
- Whether there is good contact at the plugs of
charging adapter (23)
- Whether the charging plug (21) is connected
properly with the charging socket (20)
- Whether the battery pack is correctly inserted
into the charging station (19)
If the battery still fails to charge, please
send the battery charger, including charging
station (19) and charging adapter (23), and the
battery pack to after-sale service department.
Important notes:
1. To ensure that the battery provides long
service, you should take care to recharge it
promptly. You must recharge the battery when
you notice that the power of the machine
drops. The lithium-ion battery has no memory
effect. Do not worry about the performance of
battery drops when the battery is frequently
charged.
2. The Lithium-ion battery is protected
against deep discharge by the "Electronic
Cell Protection". When the battery is empty,
the machine is automatically switched off to
prevent the battery from over-discharge.
3. Do not continue to press the on/off switch
(3) after the machine has been automatically
switched off. The battery can be damaged.
4. Do not store the battery when it is empty.
A battery that will be not used for a longer
period shall be at least 60%-fully charged
before storing and keep the battery charged
every 4-6 months.
Switching on/off (A9)
- Insert the battery pack (1).
- Press the lock-off button (4) and keep it pressed.
- Press down the on/off switch (3). The machine
starts running. Now you can release the lock-off
button (4).
To switch it off, release the on/off switch (3).
Adjusting the length of telescopic pole (A10)
Always disconnect the battery from the machine
before inspection and adjustment work.
- Lift the lock lever (15).
