General scope of application on the DAKON-XP
The USB Alarm Box is designed for operation in industrial zones and substations.
It is a hardware option for the data concentrator (DAKON-XP) and is used to signal (error)
messages from a DAKON-XP-PC or server PC to a central unit.
The USB Alarm Box is connected to a DAKON-XP-PC or server PC via a USB connection.
The OSCOP P application on this PC activates the relay box on a cyclical basis (watchdog
function – GOK contact) and makes potential-free contacts via 2-pin screw terminals
available using a GOK relay and six signalling relays.
