CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet prior to performing any maintenance. Cleaning
should always be performed on a cooled appliance!
Rinse the removable attachment under running water. Do not use steel wool, abrasive agents or
solvents for cleaning. Do not submerge the shaft because that could wash off the lubricant from the
bearing. Wipe the appliance body with a damp cloth. Never clean it under running water, do not rinse
or immerse it into water! Attach the removable attachment back onto the body of the appliance. To
save space you may hang the mixer by the loop.
Wash the bowl with warm water. We do not recommend washing the bowl in a dishwasher, because
it could be damaged in the long run.
Before putting the immersion mixer away, make sure that it is cool, clean and dry.
Fast rinse
Between individual runs of the mixer, hold it in a glass half full of water and let it run for a few
seconds.
