11. Pairing the subwoofer

This chapter refers only to the TB378WW 2.1 soundbar model. If you have acquired the TB378 2.0 sound-
bar model, continue reading in the next chapter.
Before wireless transmission between the speakers and the subwoofer is possible, both devices must be
coupled. This process is called "pairing".
a) Automatic pairing
• The subwoofer usually automatically connects to the speakers when both devices are supplied with power and the
speakers are switched on.
• The PAIR (15) LED at the subwoofer will flash during pairing.
• When pairing is completed, the PAIR (15) LED at the subwoofer remains lit.
Do not push the PAIR (14) button at the subwoofer, except if you want to start manual pairing.
If the subwoofer does not automatically connect the two speakers, perform manual pairing (see next chap-
ter).
b) Manual pairing
• Ensure that the speakers and the subwoofer are connected to the mains and that the speakers are off (the operat-
ing display (7) must be lit red).
• Press the PAIR (14) button at the subwoofer pushed until the PAIR (15) LED flashes quickly.

• If the LED PAIR (15) at the subwoofer continues to flash, pairing has not been completed without defects. Discon-
nect the subwoofer from the power supply for about three minutes in this case and repeat the above process.
Manual pairing only needs to be performed once. At the next activation, the subwoofer will automatically
connect to the speakers.
If the subwoofer can no longer be connected to the speakers, switch off any possibly interfering devices
in the closer vicinity (e.g. microwaves, strong motors, cordless phones, mobile phones, etc.), and repeat
pairing.
The subwoofer must be at a distance of no more than 6 m from the speakers.
If pairing was not successful and the speakers are on, the operating display (7) at the speakers will flash
orange.
