Binding Process
1.
Turn on the transmitter, press and hold the CH3 button. The LED light on the transmitter should flash blue and a beep will sound. Release
the button. The transmitter is ready for the binding process.
2.
Connect the receiver. It should flash slowly green.
3.
Place the receiver near the transmitter. Press and hold the BIND button on the receiver until the LED light flashes rapidly (several times)
and then flashes again slowly. This operation indicates that the binding process is complete. Release the BIND button.
4.
Turn the transmitter on and off, the LED light from the receiver should be solid green. This shows that transmitter and receiver are connec-
ted.
Servo Direction:
Change the throttle direction by pressing the TH R / N button for 2 seconds
Until the beeper beeps once.
Change the steering direction by pressing the ST R / N button for 2 seconds,
Until the beeper beeps once.
AUX Channel (3CH)
Press the CH3 button once, the servo turns 90 degrees.
Press again and the servo will turn 90 degrees back.
During the binding process, the CH3 button functions as the BIND button and
can not provide a Channel 3 function.
Failover (F/S)
The failover function automatically sets the throttle to the lowest position when the radio signal is weak or lost.
The receiver should remember the settings as soon as they are saved.
Repeat the settings after each binding process.
TH.TRIM and ST.TRIM Adaption
Check the throttle trim with the TH TRIM knob and the control trim with the ST TRIM knob. After each binding process, the TH TRIM must be
set to the lowest position.
Start-up of the Model
The model is already ready for use and can be put into operation immediately after charging the transmitter battery and the batteries. The
drive and control components are mounted and wired, the connection between the transmitter and the receiver is self-acting, after each
power-up.
Charging the battery
Please observe the notes on page 16-18!
Charge the battery outside of the model to avoid overheating during charging.
The charging cable of the batteries is equipped with a polarity protected plugging system.
ATTENTION!
Before the battery is allowed to be reused after charging, it must also be fully cooled.
Insert the loaded battery into the model
Loosen the slot of the battery bay and open it
Place the battery in the battery holder
For a tight fit of the battery put some moss into the battery cradle
Close the battery and secure it with the split pin
If the model is not used, the battery must always be disconnected and removed from the model
Use only suitable batteries!
Make a visual inspection of the model:
Are the wheel nuts and screw connections tightened?
Is the servo control lever firmly seated on the servo shaft?
Is the battery loaded and fixed in the holder?
Are the rotating and moving parts running-smoothly?
Are the cables laid and secured so that they can not get into moving parts?
Are the ring nuts of the spring preload the same on both sides of an axle?
Check the range of the remote control transmitter and the control functions
ATTENTION! Never operate the model with faulty remote control!
