4. Installation and connection

ATTENTION!
Damage to the unit
You can damage your product if you use a cordless screwdriver for installation.
● Use a screwdriver to install the device.
● If you observe the following points, you can install the device inside
the sauna:
– Install the device as far away from the sauna heater, infrared lamps
or other heat sources as possible. We recommend installation on
the cabin wall opposite the sauna heater.
– Do NOT install the device on or right next to the sauna heater or
other heat source.
– The maximum installation height is 140 cm.
– No insulating material (such as mineral wool) may be located behind
the device.
– The environmental conditions (see 9. Technical data on page 17)
must be observed.
● Only the supplied extension cord may be used to extend the mains cable.

4.1. Preparing for installation

1. Use a core drill (Ø 70 mm) to drill the mounting hole into the cabin wall.
2. Remove any insulation from the mounting hole.
3. Lay the connection cable in the wall of the sauna cabin for the mounting
hole and fi x the connection cable with cable ties.
