MENU

The "MENU" function facilitates access for system settings to FM
frequency, LINKMODE(FM broadcast mode), aerial settings, full
scan and version of module software (VERSION). In addition it is
possible to restore DAB memory (DABRESET) and system
settings to factory pre-sets (FACTORY).
The "MENU" key should be pressed and held to access the
settings. The individual menu items appear in your radio display:
87.6
This enables you to set the FM frequency to 87.6 MHz (factory
setting). "OK" should be pressed briefly for confirmation.
LINKMODE
This setting enables you to make the AF function of the DAB
module compatible with your radio.
Reception quality varies with manufacturer.
To select reception quality "H/AFC" or "L/AFC", press "arrow
keys" and then confirm with "OK".
Factory setting is "H/AFC" (high)
FULLSCAN
Confirmation of "FULLSCAN" by pressing "OK" key starts a full
scan.
ANTENNA
Aerial settings can be changed under this menu item. You have
the choice of "ON" and "OFF" with the "arrow keys". "ON" is
required with use of active aerials (aerials with integrated
amplifier) and is the factory setting.
If you are using an aerial from other suppliers, please select
"OFF", to prevent damage to DAB-Module.
DABRESET
Confirmation of "DABRESET" by pressing "OK" key erases all
saved stations. DAB Module settings remain unchanged.
FACTORY
Confirmation of "FACTORY" by pressing "OK" key restores all
DAB module factory settings, and all saved stations are erased.
VERSION
To check the software version press "OK" key.
IMPORTANT!
Automatic FM frequency adjustment (AF) prevents DAB module operation, and remote does not
work!
If FM frequency is drowned out by a stronger station, tune the default frequency (see point 87.6).
During automatic changing of the FM-transmission frequency (AF), do not tune the car radio,
otherwise it will adjust to the default FM transmission frequency (see point 87.6).
