Axion DAB210VW facilitates simple, economical conversion to the modern technology of the digital radio
DAB+ in your car. The basis for this is the existing radio built into your vehicle. Signals are transferred from
the DAB module to the radio installed at the factory via an integrated FM transmitter. System messages and
broadcaster information like station name are shown on your radio in RDS text.
The most convenient operation is achieved by activating the "AF" (alternative frequency) function. You can
find information about that in the instructions that came with your radio.

Before first use

The following steps should be followed before first use, in order to ensure safe use and full utilisation of the
functions available:

Accidents and injuries may be caused if the driver is distracted. Operating the radio
system may distract your awareness from traffic conditions.
Volume should be set in such a way, that external audio signals are audible at all times
(e.g. ambulance sirens).
If the volume is set too high, the result may be hearing damage. This is also true, even if
your hearing is exposed to high volumes for only a short time.
In the case of a sudden driving or braking manoeuvre or in an accident any remote
control or DAB+ module not properly attached or fixed may be flung around the vehicle
interior and cause injury.
Remote control and DAB+ module should never be fixed or attached to doors, to
windscreen, over or near areas marked "AIRBAG" on steering wheel, instrument panel or
back rests or between these areas or to passengers. In the case of accident external
devices may cause serious injury, in particular when airbags inflate.
Cables leading to the DAB+ module should be arranged in such a way, that the driver is
not obstructed.
