Operating Instructions
• During use, never open the top lid of the appliance as hot water and steam are emitted. Scalding haz-
ard!
• Allow 3in1 coffee maker to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning it.
Coffee Maker:
• The carafe is designed for use with this coffee maker only. It must never be used on a range top, in the
microwave or any other oven!
• Never place the hot carafe on a cold or wet surface.
• Never leave the empty carafe on the hotplate when it is still on. It may shatter!
• Keep lid on carafe while brewing coffee and serving it; only then does the drip stop work and, respec-
tively, will the coffee keep its temperature.
• At all times before brewing coffee, remember to place carafe onto hotplate.
• During use, never open the top lid of the filter and the water tank as the backflow of water may damage
the appliance.
• Allow filter basket to cool before removing it from coffee maker.
Espresso Maker:
• Before brewing espresso, make sure the filter holder is locked securely in place as the unit operates
under pressure.
• To ensure there is no residual pressure built-up, allow espresso maker to cool before removing the fil-
ter holder, putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the unit. Never attempt to remove the fil-
ter holder during brewing!
• When knocking out coffee grounds, be careful not to strike the filter holder hard against sharp edges.
This could damage the filter holder.
• Never aim the steam jet dispensed from the steam nozzle toward yourself or any other person:
Danger of serious burns! Place a vessel underneath the steam nozzle.
