U.S. GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. If it should
malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a
path of least resistance for electrical current to
reduce the risk of electric shock. This appliance is
eQuipped with a cord having an eQuipment
grounding conductor and grounding plug. The
plug must be inserted into an appropriate outlet
thet is properly installed and grounded in
accordance with ali electrical codes and
ordinances.
WARNING! Improper connection of the
eQuipment grounding conductor can result in a
risk of electric shock. Check with a Qualified
electrician or service person if you are in doubt as
to whetherthe outlet is properly grounded. Do not
modify the plug provided with the appliance. If it
doesn't fit the outlet, have the correct outlet
!nstalled by a Qualified electrician. This appliance
IS rated more than 10 amps and is for use on a
circuit having a nominai rating of 120V and is
factory-eQuipped with a specific electric cord and
plug to permit connection to a proper circuit.
Make sure the appliance is connected to an outlet
having the same configuration as the plug. No
adapter/extension cord should be used with this
appliance. If the appliance must be reconnected
for use on a different type of electric circuit, this
reconnection should be made by a Qualified
service personnel.
APPLIANCE PREPARATION ANO USE
o Unscrew the cap (2) turning anti-clockwise and fili
the boiler using the appropriate funnel.
o Screw cap tightly.
o Fitthe appliance with desired accessories.
olnsert plug in a suitable earthed socket.
o Press the switch (3) so it lights, indicating power is
rea~hing t~e mac~ine. Indicator (4) lights up to
Indl~ate
bOiler heatlng. When the light goes off, the
appllance is ready for use.
o Press the steam supply trigger (9). To avoid
accidental steam supply, move the cursor
backwards (10).
o !fthe type of accessoryfitted needs to be changed,
Interrupt steam supply by moving the cursor
backwards (10), wait for the dispenser to be
sufficiently cold before handling and proceed with
the change.
REFILLING BOILER WATER
When the water in the boiler is finished, the indicator
(5) com es on and there is no steam supply. To refill
proceed as follows.
o Switch the appliance off using the switch (3).
o Remove plug from socket.
o Activate the trigger (9) to empty residual vapour.
o Unscrew the cap (2).
o Introduce replacement water pouring slowly to
avoid bursts of vapour.
o Screw cap tightly (2) back ono
o Re-insert plug into socket.
o Press start button (3).

Walt untll appliance IS cold before putting away or
cleaning.
CLEANING ANO SERVICING
o Do not add any detergent, perfume or descaling
product if not expressly recommended by the
manufacturer.
o Regular cleaning of the tank is recommended
proceeding as follows: '
o Make sure the appliance is disconnected from the
power supply and is completely cold.
o Unscrew the tank fili cap (2) and turn the
appliance upside down to empty the residual
water into the sink.
o Fili the tank with about 0,51 of water and screw the
cap (2) back ono
o Shake slowly, reopen the cap and empty the
water again into the sink.
o Repeat operation 2-3 times to allow scale to be
removed in the water.
o K~ep the soleplate clean by wiping it, when cOld,
wlth a damp, slightly rough cloth.
o Use. a damp cloth to clean the appliance exterior,
aVOId use of detergent that can stick to plastic
surfaces.
