IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic salety precautions
should always be lollowed to reduce the risk 01 lire, electric
shock, and/or injuryto persons, including the lollowing:

3). Use indoors only.
4). Do not expose to rain. Store indoors only. Do not store
in temperature belowlreezing.
5). The appliance is not intended lor use by persons
(including children) with reduced physica.l, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack 01 expenence and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use 01 the appliance by
a person responsible lor their salety. Children must
be supervised to ensure that they do not play wlth the
appliance.
6). Use this system lollowing the directions described in
this manual. Use only manulacturer's recommended
attachments.
7). Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Il appliance is
not working as it should, had been dropped, damaged,
lelt outdoors, or dropped into water, contact an
authorized Service Center.
8). Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as handle, close
door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or
corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord
away lrom heated surlaces.
9). Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, hold the
plug and pull out ofthe socket.
10). Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
11). Turn olt ali controls belore unplugging the machine.
12). Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
13). Do not use with Ilammabie or combustible liquids, such
as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
14). Connect to a properly grounded outlet only. See
Grounding Instructions.
15). CAUTION. Risk 01 scalding. Do not remove steam
boiler Iilling cap while unit is ono Release ali pressure
lrom the boiler and let the machine cool down
completely belore unscrewing the boiler. ca~. Press
button on handle or on iron to make sure bOiler IS empty
01 residual pressure steam belore each relilling, make
sure the boiler is empty and has no resldual pressure
steam by pressing the button.
16). Do not immerse in water.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
o To avoid overloading, do not use a high wattage
second appliance at the same time using the same
circuiI.
olI an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 15A
extension cord must be used. Cord rated lor a lower
load may overheat. Take care not to stretch the
extension or let it twisl.

contact an Authorized Service Center. Only Authonzed
Service Centers may perlorm repairs and maintenance
jobs. Do notdismantlethe cleaneryourself.
o Ali liabilities lor damage to property and/or injury to
persons will be declined il the cleaner is not serviced in
compliance with correct salety standards, Il non-ongmal
components are used, and/or it is serviced by
unauthorized personnel.
o Belore connecting the appliance, make sure the voltage
corresponds to that indicated on the sticker and that the
electric socket supply is earthed.
o Do not direct steam at people, animals or appliances that
contai n electrical parts such as the inside 01 ovens.
o Never add detergent, alcohol, perlume or descaling
products to the tank, il not expressly recommende~ by the
manulacturer as this could negatively altect operatlon .
o Belore using the appliance, make sure the obje?ts,
surlaces and labrics in use are resistant or compatlble
with high steam temperatures. Consult manulacturer's
instructions in particular lor tiled Iloors, wood ?urlaces
and delicate labrics, such as silk or velvet, carrymg out a
test on a hidden area or sample.
o Do not use in areas where danger 01 explosions exist.
o Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug,
or alter the appliance mallunctions, or il it is dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return
