• Select the button to be programmed from the menu on the left. The selected button
appears highlighted in the menu. Assign a new function or command from the submenu
"BUTTON SETTING" by clicking. Some options under "BUTTON SETTING" will open further
submenus. In order to see them, move the mouse cursor over the triangle. "DEFAULT SETTING"
and "NEW SETTING" will be displayed in the upper right field. The following functions/
commands are available.
"ASSIGN MACRO"
"MACRO MANAGER"

"PRINT"
"SAVE"
Proceed the same for the other buttons. Click "DEFAULT" next to the "BUTTON SETTING" field
to reset one single button to default settings.
• Use "ADVANCED SETTING" to select the speed for the cursor, double-click and scrolling
operations. Set the slide control from "TRACKING", "DOUBLE-CLICK" and "SCROLLING" to the
desired position on the scale.
• Click "APPLY" to save all settings.
• Click "RESTORE DEFAULTS" in order to reset all modified settings to factory default.
• Click "DISCARD" in order to cancel a setting operation. Any modifications until that point will
not be saved.
Keep in mind that some applications do not support customized button commands.
d) Using the mouse
• Switch on your computer.
• Switch on the mouse by sliding the ON OFF switch (11) to ON position.
• Both the transmitter and receiver will connect automatically via 2.4 GHz radio technology.
• You may now operate your computer by pressing the mouse buttons or using the scroll wheel.
• Press the DPI button (4) to select the sampling rate (800/1200/1600/3000 dpi). The higher the DPI
value, the faster the cursor speed. When moving the mouse, the cursor speed will indicate the
modified settings.
• The attachment for the heel of the hand (5) is already preinstalled. If necessary, carefully
remove it from the mouse. In order to reattach it, make sure the three lugs on the attachment
are exactly aligned with the recesses on the bottom of the mouse. Slide the attachment towards
the mouse. The attachment will audibly lock into place.
• After use, disconnect the receiver from the USB port on your computer and store it away in the
storage compartment on the bottom of the mouse. Slide the ON OFF switch to OFF position, in
order to save energy.
The laser diode (9) on the bottom of the mouse might not work properly on certain
surfaces, e.g. on transparent, smooth, shiny, reflecting or specular surfaces. In such
cases, use a suitable mouse pad.
Other strong transmitters in the proximity of the mouse can cause radio interference.
Remove such transmitters. The ideal distance between receiver and mouse is 20 cm.
Keep the mouse and the receiver away from metal surfaces. Those will divert the radio
signals.
e) Establishing the radio connection manually
If radio reception is interfered with, establish the connection manually. When doing so, the
distance between mouse and receiver must not exceed 10 cm.
• Switch off the mouse by sliding the ON OFF switch (11) to OFF position.
• Disconnect the receiver from the USB port on your computer.
• Switch on the mouse by sliding the ON OFF switch to ON position.
• Simultaneously press the right and left mouse buttons (1, 3) and the scroll wheel (2).
The LED light below the scroll wheel starts flashing.
• Connect the receiver to an available USB port of your computer.
• The LED will turn off once the connection has been established.
f) Sleep mode
• Not moving the mouse or not operating the buttons or the scroll wheel of the mouse for
approx. 8 minutes will cause the mouse to activate its sleep mode.
• To wake up the mouse, move it or press any mouse button except for the DPI button.
