Wireless laser mouse

Intended use
The product is intended for operating a computer. The 2.4 GHz radio technology allows for wireless
transmission of operating commands. The nano-size USB receiver and can be stored away in the
mouse to save space. The on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse and the sleep mode allow for
a longer battery life. The attachment for the heel of the hand is intended for relieving strain from
the wrist and can be removed if necessary. The mouse buttons can be programmed individually.
Select the sampling rate (800/1200/1600/3000 dpi) using a built-in button in the mouse. The rubber
surfaces provide for a secure grip.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms,
must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you
use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short-circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read
the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper
handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or
damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
• The product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapors and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if
the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are
connected to the product.

• Batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time
to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid
burns when in contact with skin, Therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle
corrupted batteries.
• Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around,
as there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
• All batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries in the
device can lead to battery leakage and device damage.
• Do not disassemble, short-circuit or throw batteries into fire. Never recharge non-
rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
• Caution, LED light/laser light: Do not stare into the light beam! Do not look into the
beam directly or with optical instruments! Never point the laser beam at human
beings or animals. Laser radiation can seriously damage your eyes.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an
expert or at a qualified shop.

Operation

a) Installing the 2.4 GHz receiver
• Pull out the receiver (8) from the storage compartment. It features a USB A plug.
• Connect the receiver to an available USB port of your computer.
b) Inserting/changing batteries
• Open the battery compartment lid and remove the lid (10) in the direction of the arrow.
• Remove any exhausted batteries before inserting new ones.
• Insert two type AAA batteries into the battery compartment according to correct polarity. Heed
correct polarity as indicated in the battery compartment.
• Close the battery compartment. Make sure the battery compartment lid locks into place.
• Replace the batteries, if the mouse remains without function when switched on or when
pressing its buttons.
The lower voltage of rechargeable batteries (rechargeable battery = 1.2 V,
battery = 1.5 V) and the lower capacity result in a shorter operating time compared to
normal batteries. A decrease in operating range might also be likely.
For that reason we recommend you using high-quality alkaline batteries in order to
guarantee long and safe operation.
Use dark-colored pads as mouse pad. Lighter pads cause higher battery use.
c) Installing the driver and programming the mouse buttons
By factory default, the following mouse buttons are programmed with standard

Use the provided driver CD to program or deactivate commands and functions of the mouse
buttons. The DPI button (4) cannot be reprogrammed.
• If necessary, deactivate any other installed mouse drivers.
• Insert the driver CD into your CD/DVD drive.
• Install the driver by following the instructions of the installation assistant. Select "GERMAN" or
"ENGLISH" as desired language.
• After successful installation, click on "VERTICAL MOUSE DRIVER" in the start menu. The
"BUTTON SETTING" window will open.
