Replacing extension cable and sensor
In order to replace the sensor or the extension cable, pull the
sensor and the cap downward until the plastic snap fastener is
released. Then push the sensor or extension cable with the cap
over the fitting on the instrument to reestablish the connection.
Error messages
The following error messages may occur (Fig.21) and have the
causes listed below:
Er 1 Sensor not connected or defective (open circuit).
Er 2 Analog output loaded with <50kΩ, output voltage too low.
Er 3 Internal temperature above +76 °C.
Er 5 Sensor not in medium (no change in medium temperature
after heater has been on for 3 minutes).
Er 6 Sensor short circuit.
Er 7 The maximum set SAFE TEMP is exceeded.
Er 8 Calibration error (re-calibration by field service required).
Er 9 IC107 (4066) defective
Er 10 T_105 defective, OUT_TEMP >480 °C (4.8V)
Er 11 Supply voltage <7.5V
Er 12 Supply voltage >16.1V
Analog output
The actual temperature is represented as a voltage (1V corresponds
to 100°C) at the 3.5mm jack of the twin-jack adapter.
Tolerance:
0...100 °C ± 10 mV
100...400 °C ± 25 mV
The internal resistance of the connected measuring instrument or
recorder must be greater than 50 kΩ.
