The RUGBOARD was designed and manufactured according to
international safety standards for electronic devices. Use the
RUGBOARD with care, like all electronical devices. In order to

General Safety Hints
Read this manual completely before using the RUGBOARD for
the first time. Stow the manual for later consulting. Respect all
warnings and instructions given in this manual.
Do never open the RUGBOARD, or one of the other components
that were delivered with it. There could be components with live
voltage, and there is the risk of electrical shock and/or damage
to components.
Repairs are only allowed to be performed by persons certified by
the manufacturer.
By opening up the RUGBOARD and/or one of the components,
warranty is void.

Safety Instructions
- Follow all warnings and instructions given on the product and
its components!
- Do only operate the product on power outlets with earth
ground!
- For all cleaning of the product and/or its components, you have
to interrupt the power supply
- Do not use liquids for cleaning
- Stop using the product
o in wet or humid environment
o in open air when it rains
o during thunderstorms
o If there was liquid spilled over it
o If the casing is damaged
- Do not store the RUGBOARD
o on instable surfaces
o on heated or hot surfaces
o close to wet or humid places
- Do not put anything onto the product
- Protect it from overheating and direct sunlight
- Do never use rough or scratchy instruments on the surface of
the product
- Do not put mechanical pressure onto it
- Do only use the stylus tapstick delivered with the RUGBOARD
- Do only use components and accessories that are homologa-
ted for use with the product
- In the unlikely event of extreme heat, smoke, abnormal noises,
or strange smell coming from the product, turn it off at once.
