e.) Place the front plate with diffuser lens back
on the electronics part. It snaps in and the
wireless motion detector is ready for use.
STARTUP
Settings on the wireless
motion detector
a.) Open the wireless motion detector by
carefully lifting off the front plate with
diffuser lens using a screwdriver.
b.) A slide switch (1) will be located below
it for setting the ON time of the
programmed Cuveo receiver. A time of
5 minutes, 30 seconds, 15 seconds, and
5 seconds can be set. (If a temperature
change is detected in the sensing range,
the programmed Cuveo receiver is
activated for the set time. If another
temperature change is detected during
the set time, the time starts again.)
c.) The level of light at which the wireless
motion detector responds can be set in
four increments using the "H...L" slide
switch on the right (2). Sliding the switch
towards "H" means that the wireless
motion detector will also be activated
during the day. Sliding the switch towards
"L" means that the wireless motion
detector will only be activated at night.
Teaching a Cuveo receiver
to recognise the wireless
motion detector
d.) Insert two type AAA batteries in the battery
compartment making sure the polarity is
correct (plus/+ and minus/-).
e.) Set a Cuveo receiver to learning mode
(see user guide for the respective Cuveo
receiver). This is indicated by a flashing
LED on the receiver.
