Professional DSP Speaker System
with 380 W Power Amplifier
These instructions are intended for users
without any specific technical knowledge.
Please read the instructions carefully prior
to operation and keep them for later ref-
erence.
1 Applications
This 2-way speaker system is designed as a full-
range bass-reflex system with separate power
amplifiers for the high-frequency range and the
low-frequency range and is suited for versatile
sound applications. The high-quality cabinet
made of birch plywood allows multiple setup
options (use as a floor monitor, wall or stand
mounting, suspended installation).
The DSP (digital signal processor) offers
eight selectable presets for an optimum sound.
It is, among other features, also equipped with
an integrated limiter to protect the speakers
and to prevent signal distortion.

3 Safety Notes
The unit corresponds to all relevant directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with
WARNING The unit uses dangerous mains
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Pro-
tect it against dripping water, splash water
and high air humidity. The admissible am-
bient temperature range is 0 – 40 °C.
Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on
the unit, e. g. a drinking glass.
Immediately disconnect the mains plug from
the socket
1. if the unit or the mains cable is visibly
damaged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after the
unit was dropped or suffered a similar
accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the unit must be repaired by
skilled personnel.

Never pull the mains cable to disconnect the
mains plug from the socket, always seize the
plug.
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never
use water or chemicals.
No guarantee claims for the unit and no
liability for any resulting personal damage
or material damage will be accepted if the
unit is used for other purposes than originally
intended, if it is not correctly connected or
operated, or if it is not repaired in an expert
way.
If the unit is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harm-
ful to the environment.
4 Setting into Operation
4.1 Setting up the speaker system
Place the speaker system on a solid surface
and align it towards the audience. Place the
tweeter at ear level, if possible. The bevelled
design of the cabinet also makes it possible
to operate the speaker system horizontally as
a floor monitor which will radiate the sound
diagonally upwards.
Alternatively, place the speaker system via
the stand sleeve on its lower side on a standard
speaker stand with a tube diameter of 35 mm
(e. g. from the PAST series of IMG STAGE LINE).
For additional mounting options, e. g. suspen-
sion, multiple M8 threaded inserts are provided.
When setting up the speaker system,
always make sure that air will be able to flow
freely around the heat sink (8); otherwise, the
amplifier may overheat and the protective
circuit will mute the sound.
.
4.2 Connection
Before making or changing any connections,
always switch off the speaker system and the
units to be connected!
1) Feed the audio input signal via an XLR plug
or 6.3 mm plug to the jack INPUT (5). This
jack allows to connect the line level output,
e. g. of a mixer, CD- / MP3 player or pream-
plifier. When connecting a line level output,
make sure that the button LINE / MIC (3) is
disengaged.
Alternatively, connect a microphone to
this jack. In this case, engage the button
LINE / MIC.
2) If another active speaker system is required
for sound applications in larger zones, con-
nect the line level input of this speaker sys-
tem to the XLR output LINK (6). The input
signal of the jack INPUT is available at this
output.
