Transport and installation
The TIG - COOL CART / TIG - COOL is to be mounted as a compact unit along with the WIG
INVERTIG.PRO welding unit (see Chapter 4). The handle offers the opportunity to set down the
torch, earth cable etc.
The large wheels and the wide distance between the wheels help ensure safe transport. Ensure
that the INVERTIG.PRO is placed in the appropriate housing grooves of the TIG - COOL CART
or TIG - COOL water cooling unit and locked into place with the supplied screw. The tank lid has
a new valve system that does not allow water through, but still ensures pressure compensation in
the tank (e.g. when the coolant is warmed). The TIG - COOL CART or TIG - COOL may be
transported lying down.
Position the water cooling unit in such a way that there is always sufficient fresh air to cool the
water cooling unit. Place the water cooling unit safely on an even, solid surface. The slope of the
set up position may be a maximum of 10°. In the event of a greater angle of slope, the water
cooling unit will tend to tilt or roll away. The water cooling unit is not suitable for use in the rain.
The TIG - COOL CART is suitable for use as a unit with the INVERTIG.PRO welding unit is also
suitable for transport using crane lugs. Attachment of the TIG - COOL CART unit for suspended
transport, for example with ropes or chains, is only permitted when crane lugs and the handle of
the TIG – COOL CART are used. Affixing to the handle or other parts of the INVERTIG.PRO is
not permitted. Please ensure that transport using the crane lugs is only permitted without the gas
tank (see Figure 6).
