Press the push button (1) to select the required operating mode (2):
A: AUTO
The pump fans are always then switched on according to requirement, thus when welding is
taking place or when the temperature of the coolant is greater than 30°C. If no cooling under
30°C is possible for a longer period of time (e.g. the ambient temperature is greater than 30°C)
the pump and fans are switched off.
B. On
The pump and fans are always switched on.
C. Off
The pump and fans are always switched off. This is recommended, for example, when electrode
welding or changing torches.
The following error messages (see Figure 5) are displayed.
H2O > 50°C
If the temperature of the coolant in the tank is greater than 50°C, the acoustic signal will sound
for 5 seconds and the appropriate LED will light up. Please pay attention to the operating
instructions of your water-cooled WIG torch and the specified maximum permitted advance
temperature of the coolant. If this is not to be higher than 50°C, interrupt the welding task, and
leave the TIG – COOL CART 2000 / TIG – COOL 2000 switched on and running until the coolant
has cooled sufficiently.
H2O > 65
°C
If the temperature of the coolant in the tank is greater than 65°C, the acoustic signal will sound
constantly and the appropriate LED will light up. Interrupt the welding task, and leave the TIG –
COOL CART 2000 / TIG – COOL 2000 switched on and running until the coolant has cooled
sufficiently.
