Troubleshooting

Check that all connections were made correctly and that your audio sources and playback devices (e.g.
amplifier) are ready for use. If you are still encountering problems, follow the steps below:
1. No power:
• Check that the power adapter has been fully inserted into a standard mains socket.
• Check whether the product is in standby mode. This means that the switch button (6) was previously held
down for about 3 seconds. Briefly press the switch button to turn the device back on.
2. No sound
• Check that the audio source is turned on and connected properly.
• Check that the settings are correct on the device. Have you selected the correct audio source with the
switch button?
• Check whether the audio input signal has the correct PCM/LPCM format.
• Ensure that the playback device (e.g. amplifier) is turned on and connected properly.
• Check the volume level of your playback device. If the playback device is set to mute there will be no
playback.
3. An LED flashes.
• The input audio signal is not supported. Check that it is a PCM/LPCM signal (e.g. AC3, DTS).
• There is no input signal available or the audio source is set to mute.
• The receiver might need to be reset. Follow the operating instructions for the connected devices to reset
or restart.

Maintenance and cleaning

• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could damage the
housing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• Remove the product from the power supply and the connected devices before cleaning.
• Under no circumstances should you service any of the components in the interior of the product, therefore
never open/dismantle it. Do not immerse the product in water.
• A dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient for cleaning. Do not press too hard on the housing as this can lead
to scratch marks.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At
the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
