5.4 Display of the quantity counter (Cnt=Counter)
The quantity counter will indicate the entire amount of ground portions to you. Please note that a double shot
will count as two single shots.
Press + and – simultaneously until "Pt1" appears on the display. Press – twice quickly until "Cnt" is
displayed. Press + quickly to reach the submenu of "Cnt".
First the 1000's (pic. 2) then the 100's (pic. 3) indicator appear. The grinder in the example first displays
"000" and then "020". This means that 20 single portions, or rather 10 double portions, have been ground so
far.
Important: Press + to exit the display of the quantity counter. The stand-by display reappears.
6. CLEANING
We do recommend to clean the grinder on a regular basis in order to keep the grinding mechanism
functioning properly and to receive even results. Furthermore, you will prevent old coffee residues in the
grinding mechanism to affect aroma and taste.
6.1 Cleaning of the housing and the bean hopper
Occasionally clean the housing and the tray with a damp cloth. You should clean the bean hopper with a
cloth prior to refilling the hopper in order to remove coffee oil residues. These residues can negatively effect
the flavor.
6.2 Cleaning of the burrs
Please use a grinder cleaner available at your specialty dealer to clean the grinder. Clean the grinder
according to instructions.

TIPPS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Should a bean become stuck in the grinding mechanism, you may easily fix this yourself.
1
Adjust the grind to a coarser degree. Turn the grind adjuster counter-clockwise by two full turns.
2
Press the the grinding button and grind coffee. The stuck beans should now come loose.
3
Re-adjust the grind.
In case the grind setting of your grinder changes autonomously after many grinding procedures, it is most
likely that vibrations during grinding have caused the bracket of the grind level adjuster to become loose.
Please proceed as follows to correct the problem:
1
Switch the grinder off and unplug the electrical cord.
2
Loose the screw of the adjustment of the grinding level (1,5 mm
Allen wrench).
3
Loosen both screws that are, or were, holding the grind
adjustment bracket (2.5mm Allen wrench).
4
Position the bracket as close to the gear wheel as possible and
tighten both screws again.
5
Tighten the screw of the adjustment of the grinding level again.
