5.2 Grinding the portions

Single Shot – Press the button on the left side
In order to get one portion of grounds, just press the
grinding button on the left side.
In our experience it will take about 3.8 to 4.2
seconds to grind for one espresso.
This does depend on the grinding level and the
coffee though.
The remaining time is shown on the display during
grinding.
You can stop the grinding process by pressing the
button again.
Double Shot – Press the button on the right side
In order to get 2 portions, press the grinding button
on the right side.
In our experience it will take about 5.7 to 6.2
seconds to grind for two espressi.
This does depend on the grinding level and the
coffee though.
The remaining time is shown on the display during
grinding.
You can stop the grinding process by pressing the
button again.
Manual Grinding – Keep either grinding button
depressed
You can manually grind a varying amount of coffee.
Keep pressing either one of the grinding buttons
until the desired amount of coffee has been ground.
"man" is displayed during manual grinding
Stopping the grinding process – Press one of
the grinding buttons
You can stop the grinding process by pressing either
of the grinding buttons during timed grinding.
