Details about the track length

The length of a track (measured in beats) results from the first recording in the respective
track. The behavior differs depending on whether the recording is started while the
internal clock (time base) is running or while the internal clock is stopped.
Note: The clock is stopped when the MIDI LOOPER is powered up. This is also the case, if
you explicitly stop it as described in the chapter "What happens when you press a button
while all tracks are selected?".
Recording mode with stopped clock (Clock Source = internal clock):
The length of the track may be exactly 1 quarter notes or 1 ... 64 bars. The
automatic bpm detection determines how many bars are derived from the
recording duration (in seconds).
Recording mode with clock running:
The track length will be rounded to 1 to 16 quarter notes according to the
recording time (in seconds). From the beginning of the 17th quarter note the
track length is rounded up to whole bars (5 ... 64).
