Unfold the snow saw to a 90 degree angle.

To unfold the snow saw, turn carefully the saw blade with grip away from your body

into the direction of the arrow with your left hand and the second part also into the

direction of the arrow to release the tension between both parts. Now you can
unfold completely the snow saw.
The assembled snow saw. It can be used with or without the ORTOVOX shovel handles.

To fold the snow saw, turn the saw blade part with your left hand carefully away from
your body and the second part always in direction of the arrow to reduce the ten-
sion between both parts. Now you can fold entirely the saw.
Ideal for inspecting the snow pack (compression test and sliding snow block test)

and for building an igloo (outdoors, survival, expedition).
While assembling snow saw, we recommend gloves be worn to prevent possible injuries.
