OPERATING DETERMINATIONS

This device is a lighting chain for creating decorative effects.
EL Wire 10m
The is only allowed to be operated with an alternating voltage of 230 V, 50 Hz and may only
be operated with the included power unit. The power unit falls under protection-class 2 and the lighting chain
under protection-class 3.
EL Wire 2m
The is allowed to be operated with a direct current of 3 V and may only be operated with a
suitable set of batteries.
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
Operate the device only after having familiarized with its functions. Do not permit operation by persons not
qualified for operating the device. Most damages are the result of unprofessional operation!
Please use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
Please consider that unauthorized modifications on the device are forbidden due to safety reasons!
This lighting chain must never be electrically connected with another chain.
If this device will be operated in any way different to the one described in this manual, the product may suffer
damages and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore, any other operation may lead to dangers like
short-circuit, burns, electric shock, etc.
OPERATION:
EL Wire 10m
In order to design the desired patterns, draw the form onto the surface or wrap the EL Wire around the
desired form and attach the EL Wire with adhesive tape or a few drops of glue.
Connect the power cable of the EL Wire to the transformer. Connect the transformer to the mains. Make
sure that the outlet is in a dry area.
On the controller of the EL Wire, you can find a 3-step switch with the following functions:
On Static light
Off Off
BI Blinking light
