Using rechargeable batteries safely
WARNING:
•
Rechargeable batteries may
cause fires or burns if not
handled properly.
•
Do not dismantle the
rechargeable batteries, never
expose them to heat (max. 60
°C) and do not throw them into
a fire.
•
Only ever replace the
rechargeable batteries with
original Vax replacement
batteries (article number 1-5-
134857).
If you use other rechargeable
batteries, there is a risk of fire
and explosion.
•
Dispose of used rechargeable
batteries immediately. Keep
them out of the reach of
children.
•
Do not attempt to service a
rechargeable battery or charger
yourself. This can cause fires
and injuries.
• Never attempt to charge non-
rechargeable batteries.
For your safety
•
Never short-circuit
rechargeable batteries. I.e.
Never touch both poles
simultaneously, especially not
with metal objects.
•
For this reason, cover the
contacts with adhesive tape
before disposal.
• Only use the charger which is
included in the scope of supply
to charge the rechargeable
batteries.
CAUTION:
• In order to full utilise the
performance, it is important that
the upright vacuum cleaner,
charger, rechargeable batteries
and their contacts are clean.
• Dispose of spent rechargeable
batteries in an environmentally
friendly manner.
Cover the contacts with
adhesive tape beforehand.
