7.6 Fan with start-up and stop delay (Function 6)
This function, in combination with Function 1, can be used to
implement a light with fan control by employing a 2-channel
Radio Plus actuator and one transmitter.
Button O
One actuator's channel is used for light control and the other is
used for fan control.
The transmitter must be assigned on the actuator and
Button I
appropriately programmed (e.g. to Function 1 for light control
over channel 1 and to Function 6 for fan control over channel 2).
Pressing button I will switch on the light; the fan will subse-
quently switch on after a 3 minute delay.
Pressing button O will switch off the light; the fan will remain on
for the preset (parameter) stop-time delay.

7.7 Light scenes (Function 7)
A light scene can be implemented with this function when
a light control with multiple Radio Plus actuators and their
assigned transmitters are available.
This is done by assigning all actuators involved in the light
scene to an additional transmitter, in which Function 7 has
been programmed for each of the actuators.
When respective actuators are to be switched on or off then
one of the buttons on the transmitter to be used must be
held depressed for more than 2s in order to store the light
Function
scene, which will be confirmed by a brief blinking of the
Switch on
output.
Switch off
By briefly pressing the transmitter's button I or button O,
one of the four stored light scenes (A-D) will be called up.

7.8 Window contact (Function 8)
Window contact
Magnet
When a assigned window contact is opened the consumer is
switched on. When all assigned window contacts are closed
the consumer is switched off.
Caution!! The magnetic contact must be assigned or deleted
with its programming button on a actuator.
Following activation of Function 8's programming, the
magnetic contact of the window contact must be activated one
time to permit its recognition! This can also be done before
the the window contact will be mounted.

8. Ranges between transmitters and actuators
The range of the Radio Plus radio signals decreases as the
distance between transmitter and actuator increases.
If the normal range between transmitter and actuator is
insufficient, an Radio Plus Repeater (561.400) can be
employed to increase range.
The range between the transmitter and actuator in a house
is approx. 30m (line-of-sight connection) and 100m in halls.
The transmission range depends on the materials used
in the building:
Material
Typical range
Masonry
20m (max. 3 walls)
Reinforced concrete
10m (max. 1 wall/ceiling)
Drywall/wood
30m (max. 5 walls)
Limiting the range of the radio signals due to:
• Installing the transmitter or actuator in the immediate vicinity
of materials with metal constituents, or metal objects.
A distance of at least 10 cm should be maintained.
• Installing the transmitter/actuator on the ground or at
ground level.
• Moisture in the materials
• Devices, which also emit high frequency signals, such as
e.g. computers, audio and video equipment, electronic
ballasts for illuminants.
A distance of at least 0.5m should be maintained.
9. Error analysis in the case of radio interference
For a new or pre-existing system:
• Check the system voltage of the actuator.
• Check if the actuator is receiving a radio command.
• Check if the actuator is connected as specified.
• Check the operation of the connected consumers.
• Delete all transmitters in the actuator, and reprogramme
the actuator.
• Check if any changes have been made around the system
that could generate problems (metal cabinets, walls or
furniture has been moved, etc.).
If possible, restore things to their original status.
• Mount the transmitter or actuator at a better location.
The actuator independently turns ON and OFF:
• This can occur when an outside transmitter is activated
within the actuator range that was previously programmed
in the actuator.
• Delete all transmitters in the actuator, and reprogramme
the actuator.
A transmitter does not work:
• Take the transmitter and move toward the actuator.
If the system still works at a closer distance, the transmitter
was installed outside of the transmission range, or there
was interference.
• Mount the transmitter or actuator at a better location.
