(3.1) Preparation

Filling each calibration cuvette up to the 10 ml
mark, fi ll one cuvette with pH 7.00 buffer soluti-
on, one with pH 4.00 buffer solution and one with
deionised water (JBL-Dest). The buffer solutions
are coloured with an indicator in order to prevent
confusion. For more stability, place the calibrati-
on cuvettes in the 3 large holder spaces on the
calibration stand. Unscrew the screw fi tting on
the storage tube of the sensor by about one turn
and pull out the sensor. Put the sensor together
with the temperature sensor in the calibration
cuvette with distilled water, move it around a
little and leave the two sensors in the water. Place
the storage tube in the small storage hole in the
calibration tray and leave it there for later use.

(3.2) Language selection

Use the selection key to select the required langu-
age and press OK. The following language options
are displayed: D/GB/F/NL/I/DK/E/P

(3.3) Calibration

Press OK for Start Calibration.

Follow the instructions given on the display and
dip both sensors into the buffer solution stated,
fi rst in one solution and then the other. The
device will carry out a two-point calibration for
you, fi rst calibrating with buffer solution 7.00,
