9. Press the On/Off button (24) to turn the coffee machine on and start the brewing cycle. The LED
indicator (25) turns on.
- Pause the brewing cycle by pressing the On/Off button. Press the button again to resume brewing.
- You can end the brewing cycle at any time by pressing the On/Off button.
10. Coffee will start to drip into the coffee pot soon after the brewing cycle begins. The coffee in the coffee
pot is kept warm by the hotplate.
- A full cycle takes approx. 10 minutes with a full tank.
11. The drip stop (15) allows you to serve coffee during the brewing cycle. To serve coffee during the
brewing cycle, simply remove the coffee pot.
- Do not wait for too long (max. 30 seconds) before putting the coffee pot back onto the hotplate in
order to prevent spillage.
- This constitutes a burning hazard! Only hold the coffee pot using the handle (14).
- Caution! Be careful not to tilt the coffee pot too much when it is full. Coffee may spill and cause
burn injuries.
12. If all the water has run through the filter, turn the coffee machine off by pressing the On/Off button
- If you want to keep the coffee warm, do not turn the machine off and place the coffee pot on the
hotplate.
- The coffee machine and the hotplate will turn off automatically after 40 minutes.
13. Remove the mains plug from the mains socket after use and let the coffee machine cool down.

11. Setting the time and using the timer

You must plug the coffee machine into the mains before you can set the time or use the timer. If
the power supply is interrupted for more than 10 seconds, the saved time values will be deleted
and you will need to reset the time.

a) Setting the time

1. Keep pressing the Program button (23) until "CLOCK" appears on the LCD display.
2. Use the Hour (21) and Minute (22) buttons to set the hour and minute values.
- Press and hold the Hour and Minute buttons to scroll through the hour/minute values quickly.
3. Wait until "CLOCK" disappears from the display or press the Program button. The time is now set.
b) Timer function
The timer function turns the coffee machine on at a preset time.
