or zone 20 hazardous areas!
• The technical data indicated on the battery
is to be observed!
• Changes or modifications to the battery are
not permitted!
• The battery is only to be used as intended
and in undamaged and correct working
order!
• Only genuine Eaton's Crouse-Hinds Business
(Eaton)/CEAG parts are to be used!
• Repairs that affect the protection against
explosion, may only be performed by
Eaton's Crouse-Hinds Business (Eaton)/
CEAG or a qualified electrician (see relevant
national regulations)!
• Observe the national health and safety
regulations for prevention of accidents that

Important information relating to occurrence of a lamp fault:

Under certain conditions (e.g. low temperature range) a supposed lamp fault (red LED flashing) can possibly be eliminated and
replacement of the lamp avoided. Initiate a manual mains failure. This causes the emergency lighting function to start up.
After ca. 1 minute the fault is eliminated. If, however, the red LED continues to flash, it is necessary to replace the lamp .
