Placement of wood and ignition
1. Two pieces of wood measuring 50*50*300mm are
placed in the middle of the bottom of the combustion
chamber with a vertical spacing of 30mm, and then
four small pieces of wood measuring 50*30mm are
stacked on top.
2. Pull the main air inlet and the secondary combustion
valve in the positive (+) direction as shown in fig. 6. The
valve must be 100% open.
3. Light the wood with an ignition gun or firelighter.
4. After the wood has been lit, keep the oven door ajar
(about 3 cm between the cracks) for about 3 to 10
minutes. Wait for the smoking pipe to heat up, then
close the oven door.
Refilling the stove
After the wood has burned into charcoal in the oven, the
wood can be added.
1. Spread the charcoal fire over the
grate as shown in fig. 7.
2. First of all, two pieces of wood
measuring 50*50*300 mm are
placed in the middle of the grate
at the bottom of the combustion
chamber with a vertical spacing of
30 mm, and a piece of wood is
placed horizontally in the second
layer. The total mass of the
material is about 1.8 kg. As shown
in fig. 8.
