• For the connection of steel pipe chimneys through the
ceiling, all national and local regulations regarding the
distance from combustible materials must be observed.
It is important that the chimney is equipped with a roof
support, so that the top plate of the fireplace does not
have to support the weight of the entire flue, which could
damage the fireplace.
• In general, the vertical height of the smoking pipe should
be ≥ 5 meters, and the length of the horizontal smoking
pipe should be < 20% of the vertical smoking pipe.
Combustion air and ventilation
Combustion air and ventilation According to EN13240
standards, this fireplace is approved for use as an indoor
air fireplace. All combustion air in the fireplace comes
from the room where it is installed. According to building
regulations, there must be sufficient ventilation in the
room. If the room has an air leakage of less than 5
m³/h/m², there must be a ventilation of 550 mm²/kW.
