ENG ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS
dry. Open the container latches on either side of
this vacuum cleaner and remove the motor unit
(2). For dry-vacuuming, slip the HEPA filter over
the filter basket (7). Attention! The HEPA filter is
suitable for dry-vacuuming only. For wet vacuu-
ming, slip the supplied foam filter over the filter
basket (8). Attention! The HEPA filter (already fit-
ted) is not suitable for wet vacuuming. Take care
not to damage the filter. To remove the filter, gently
slide it off the filter basket. Replace the motor unit
and fasten the container latches. Periodic cleaning
of the HEPA filter is very important in order to pre-
vent dust from being expelled through the grilles.
ANTI-ELECTROSTATIC CHAIN.
An anti-electrostatic chain is installed at the base of
this vacuum cleaner, which discharges electrostatic
energy to the ground, preventing this vacuum clea-
ner from accumulating that electrostatic energy.
CONNECTING HOSE.
The hose can be connected to either the suction
socket or the blower socket. The vacuum socket is
located in the side of the tank (9). Line up the not-
ches on the hose end connector with the slots in the
socket (10). Insert the hose end connector into the
socket and rotate until it is fixed in place (11). The
blower socket is located at the rear of this vacuum
cleaner (12). Line up the notches on the hose end
connector with the slots in the socket (13). Insert
the hose end connector into the socket and rotate
until it is fixed in place (14). Rotate and retract the
hose end connector to disconnect the hose (15).
ASSEMBLING AND FITTING EXTENSION
TUBES.
Either one or both of the extension tubes can be
used to if additional length is required. To use both
extension tubes together, connect the tubes by in-
serting the narrow end of one tube into the flared
end of the other tube (16). Subsequently, slide the
flared end of the extension tube over the nozzle at
the end of the cleaner's handle (17). Slide the re-
maining narrow end of the extension tube into the
socket in the brush or the crevice nozzle (18). To
disconnect the tubes, pull the parts gently apart.
FITTING BRUSHES AND NOZZLES.
Slide the end of the vacuum handle or the exten-
sion tube into the socket in the brush or the crevice
nozzle. To disconnect pull the parts gently apart.
DRY VACUUMING - BEFORE SWITCHING ON.
Ensure that the HEPA filter is clean. Using a dirty
HEPA filter for dry vacuuming can lead to reduced
suction and/or permanent damage to the HEPA
filter. To prevent the HEPA filter becoming unne-
cessarily soiled, to maintain suction performance
and to facilitate easy emptying, we recommend
that a dust bag is always fitted when dry vacuu-
ming. Ensure that this vacuum cleaner is correctly
assembled. Check that the container latches are
securely fastened.
WET VACUUMING - BEFORE SWITCHING ON.
Attention! For wet vacuuming, only use the supplied
foam filter (8). Remove the dust bag. Attention! The
dust bag should not be used for wet vacuuming.
Make sure the foam filter is clean and dry. Wash
it if necessary. Using a dirty or wet foam filter may
lead to reduced suction and/or permanent damage
to the filter. Make sure this vacuum cleaner is pro-
perly assembled. Check that the container latches
are properly secured.
ON/OFF.
Connect the power cord to a regulatory, grounded
installation. To switch this vacuum cleaner on or
off, use the switch (20).
SYNCHRONIZED AUXILIARY SOCKET.
This vacuum cleaner has a socket to be connec-
ted synchronously with a power tool, so that this
vacuum cleaner turns on and off when turning the
power tool on and off (25). To do this, place the
switch of this vacuum cleaner in the position with
two horizontal lines (22) and insert the power tool
plug into the vacuum cleaner socket. Synchroni-
zation between the vacuum cleaner and the power
tool will occur with a delay of about 5-10 seconds.
If the synchronization does not work, this is due to
electrical polarity, which can be solved by simply
removing the plug from the power tool and reinser-
ting it backwards. To disconnect, turn off the power
tool and move the switch to the "O" position (21).
CONNECTING TO A POWER TOOL DUST
EXTRACTION OUTLET.
If you connect the vacuum cleaner to another
power tool using the hose of this vacuum cleaner,
insert the nozzle (19) into the extraction outlet of
the power tool. If the nozzle does not fit, use the
26, 32, 35 or 45 mm adapter (23). The adapter
